Dr. Harry Marget – Director / Dental Surgeon

Harry has been a dentist since November 1972 after graduating from the University of Adelaide. He has a special interest in treating anxious and nervous patients, orthodontics, implants, laser dentistry, treating elderly patients, dentures and cosmetic dentistry.

In his spare time Harry enjoys some time away from the dental chair with an array of leisure activities. "My hobbies are painting, cooking, making bread, music of all sorts, food, wine, theatre, amateur comedy and tennis".

Dr.Yelena Magit – Director / Dental Surgeon

Dr Yelena graduated from The University of Adelaide where she inaugurated her passion for the dental industry.

She has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and loves building her patients confidence and enhancing their smiles.

Dr Yelena knows her strong points in her dental profession and knows when balance is needed, "As a perfectionist by nature, love my job. Aside from this, travelling is my favourite pastime".

Dr. Chris Boyle – Dental Surgeon

Chris is a highly experienced dentist with over 25 years experience in the profession. His experience is varied and spends most time on cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridge and endodontics, including many complex cases and implants. Originally from Scotlan, Chris graduated from Edinburgh University in 1985 and has lived in Melbourne since 1990

Dr Alexander Maer – Dental Surgeon

Dr Maer graduated with Honours in Dentistry from the University of Melbourne.

After practicing his expertise in a private practice in Ballarat, he soon joined the team at East Bentleigh Dental Group.

His skills in dentistry include crown and bridges, aesthetic dentistry, dental implants, oral surgery, oral medicine and children’s dentistry.

Dr Maer is passionate about working with each patient to achieve optimum dental health. He is also committed to continuing his professional development by frequently attending dental conferences in order to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements.

Dr Nancy Xu – Dental Surgeon

Nancy completed her Bachelor in Dental Surgery at Adelaide University in 2004 and has worked at EBDG as a general dentist since. She has a particular interest in endodontics and cosmetic dentistry.

As a member of the ADA, Nancy has participated in various continuing professional education courses and is committed to providing gentle and quality care to all of her patients.

Dr. Deepak Jayakumar – Dental Surgeon

Dr Jayakumar is a dentist with a special interest in the field of Orthodontics.

He completed a 3 year Masters Degree in the Orthodontics speciality in India and has since practiced in the field for more than 8 years.

Dr. Diana Wiseman – Dental Surgeon

Dr Wiseman graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2001 and has been working at the East Bentleigh Dental group for the past 5 years. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry in particular cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatments and crown and bridge work.

"I am passionate about working with patients to achieve their best possible outcomes, with paramount consideration and care in mind," she says.

Dr Wiseman is committed to updating her skills and keeping grounded at home with her two beautiful children.

Dr. Daniel Kaufman – Dental Surgeon

Dr Daniel Kaufman completed his Bachelor Degree in Medical Sciences with Honors from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, in 1989.

In 1992 he received his degree of Doctor in Dental Medicine and a degree of Master in Sciences with Honors.

Following his graduation, he engaged in further training the in Oral Surgery at the Shiba Center in Tel Aviv, Israel. Overall Dr Kaufman has been practicing dentistry for 20 years.

Dr Kaufman has a special interest in placing implants, performing root canal treatments, treating children, restoring teeth with crowns and bridges and providing gentle dental treatment.

"My commitment to continued professional development has led me to be a member in the Melbourne Seattle Study Club and to travel to international courses around the world".

Dr Saori Hayashi – Dental Surgeon

After completing a Bachelor of Dental Science in 2005 at Melbourne University, Dr Saori Hayashi gained further knowledge in rural and metropolitan practices.

After cultivating her skill, she joined the team here at East Bentleigh Dental in 2007.

Dr Hayashi is a member of the Dental Association, and is constantly attending development meetings, both in Australia and overseas to promote her dental expertise.

She enjoys practicing in all areas of dentistry including general care, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal treatments and dental implants.

Dr. Hayashi has a strong belief that a habitual oral care routine, combined with regular dental checkups can lead to a lifetime of excellent dental health.

Her philosophy is to provide the best care possible to satisfy patient’s treatment goals, and to ensure patients benefit long-term.

Dr Saori is known for her gentle hands, and her compassionate nature toward patients who fear the dentist.

Dr. Paul Aulakh – Dental Surgeon

Dr. Tim Stolz – Dental Surgeon

Dr. Timothy Stolz has been practicing implant dentistry since 1991, and is one of the most experienced practitioners in Victoria. He has been involved in research and development of the implant frameworks, and has lectured extensively on implant treatment over the past fifteen years. He has run training programs in implant dentistry, and has conducted his own clinical research.

He is currently an Associate Investigator for a research program on ‘Implant Complications in Clinical Practice’ and is a member of the Melbourne University faculty of the Australian Institute for Dental Education and Research. He maintains a practice in Geelong where his work is predominantly implant treatment. He has been a clinician at East Bentleigh Dental Group for the past three years.

Dr. Kalyani Chitrapu – Dental Surgeon

Dr Kalyani is a dentist at EBDG and loves working alongside her fellow staff and patients.

Unfortunately, she is moving on, and we will miss her, as she is getting married and moving to Western Australia in 2012!

Victor Antoniou – Therapist

Victor has been a team member at the EBDG for the past 6 years. Upon graduating as a Dental Therapist in 1985, he spent many years working in Country Victoria and Metropolitan Melbourne with the School Dental Service.

Victor has also worked at the University of Melbourne, in the capacity of Clinical Demonstration for the undergraduate Oral Health Therapist.

His personal mission statement reads "to make every dentist visit enjoyable and comfortable for children of all ages".

Lene Norling – Hygienist

Lene is one our lovely dental hygienists. Originally from Denmark, she decided to come to Australia 4 years ago and never looked back!

She graduated from the University of Copenhagen and studied for one semester in Amsterdam/Holland.

She is a bubbly addition to our practice and is always happy to see new patients!

Tran Pham – Oral Health Therapist

Tran graduated from Melbourne University in 1998 as an Oral Health Therapist after previously becoming a Dental therapist in 1997.

In 1999 she furthered her studies to become a qualified Oral Health hygienist.

She has worked with the team at East Bentleigh Dental for eleven years, looking after the Dental hygiene department, Perio management and children’s dentistry.

Tran loves her work environment and enjoys providing high quality service to patients every time.

Hafize – Oral Health Therapist

Hafize is our oral health therapist with us at East Bentleigh Dental Group.

"Working at EBDG gives me the opportunity to meet lots of wonderful patients and to work with great staff," she says.

Mary Baker – Radiographer

Mary has been a qualified radiographer for many years, recently specialising in dental CT and x-rays.

"I bring my experience to the use of Harry’s ‘state of the art’ dental CT scanner – providing clear and accurate scans for all the dentists."

Mary has a second special forte

"When I’m not checking out teeth, I love to be in my kitchen cooking up a storm!"

Rada Bjelogrlic – Business Manager

Rada started with the team at East Bentleigh Dental Group and 2010 and loves her work environment. It is a welcomed change, after spending years working in the corporate field.

She loves working alongside the happy team and helping where she can.

Dorothy Nezeritis – Clinical Manager

With a Certificate III in DA, Dorothy started working with the East Bentleigh Dental Group in 1982 as a dental assistant.

After 4 years of work she took an extended break start a family and moved to Greece where she maintained work as a dental assistant.

In 1995 she returned back to Australia to work with EBDG. For the last 6 yrs she has worked in the role of clinical co-ordinator, a most challenging but enjoyable and rewarding role.

She loves working with people, including fellow staff members and all her patients, making sure all their needs are met at all times.

Sharon Hudson – Patient Accounts

I began my career here at EBDG in 1986 as a dental nurse and have gained experience assisting in all areas of dentistry and reception work.

She now manages patient accounts and enjoys working with our patients to meet their every need!

Mary Brouwer – Administration

Harry was Mary’s dentist and she enjoyed visiting so much, one day he asked "why don’t you come and work for us?"…. So here she is!

"I love it here; I spend my week working in reception and administration," she says.

Tracy Hard – Dental Receptionist

Tracy has been working for The East Bentleigh Dental Group for 5 years as a receptionist. She has also had previous dental experience as a dental nurse in her last position.

Tracy loves meeting our patients and getting to know them, and catching up upon their next visit!

Anita Uglietta – Dental Receptionist and Nurse

After qualifying as a Nurse with the East Bentleigh Dental Group in 2001, Anita left to develop her skills in dental sales and earned herself a practice certificate.

She returned to the team at EBDG in 2011 and is very excited to be back, putting her reception and nursing skills into practice yet again!

Teisha – Dental Receptionist

With a Certificate III in Dental Assisting, Teisha has been a nurse for over 7 years, 5 of which she has spent with The East Bentleigh Group working in surgery as well as reception.

She has recently returned from maternity leave and has now taken up the role of Infection Control Supervisor, which has been challenging but exciting at the same time.

Alison Starkey – Dental Nurse / Receptionist

Alison is a dental nurse and receptionist with us at East Bentleigh Dental Group. She has been been dental nursing for 11 years and thoroughly enjoys it.

She has gained great experience over the years, working in both the public and private sphere. “I enjoy working here at EBDG as Yelena and Harry are great to work for and so are the rest of the staff!” says Alison.

Nicole – Dental Nurse / Receptionist

Nicole has been working as a dental assistant for 10 years and has been with East Bentleigh Dental Group for the last 8 years.

She works dexterously in the surgery and in reception, and is always happy and shining her light upon our patients.

Robyn Simpson – Dental Nurse / Receptionist

In 2009, Robyn graduated from RMIT with a Cert 3 in Dental assisting. She works with the entire team, helping out with reception, stock, and hygiene therapy and helping the team with implantation and general IV sedations.

Robyn loves her position with East Bentleigh Dental Group, and says the staff are just like family!

Rita Stewart – Dental Nurse

Our Dental Nurse, Rita Stewart graduated in Germany after completing a study of Clinical Pharmacology.

She looks after the maintenance of all dental chairs, autoclaves and handpieces and lends a hand in sterilising all dental equipment.

She also kindly looks after our patient’s at the reception desk when the time calls.

Tina Sakinmaz – Dental Nurse

After graduating from RMIT with a certificate in dental nursing, Tina has been with the East Bentleigh Dental Group for just over a year.

Tina looks forward to coming into work every morning, and putting her skills into practice!

Beth Weir – Dental Nurse

Beth is a dental nurse at EBDG. The thing she loves most about our clinic is all the lovely people that she gets to spend her day with!

Sabrina – Dental Nurse

Sabrina came to train with us the East Bentleigh Dental Group soon after graduating high school in 2006. After 3 years she is now working with a general dentist and therapist on alternate days, giving her a variety during her working week!

She loves coming to work with her colleges who she calls friends, and enjoys each working moment.

Sigal – Sterilising Nurse

Sigal has been trained to work as a dental nurse and in sterilisation.

"I love my job. The girls are great fun and we have such a great team, I love working here!" she says.

Audrey Wu – Sterilising Nurse

Audrey works in sterilisation and loves working with the team at East Bentleigh Dental.

She spends a lot of her day smiling as Dr Harry always manages to make her laugh. Aside from this enjoys the practice atmosphere very much.

Dan Topor – IT Consultant

Dan is the IT man and has been working with EBDG for over ten years.
