Fillings

The decayed is removed from the tooth and then prepared to be filled.

At the EBDG we use composite resin for most of our fillings. This is a synthetic material which can be matched to the colour of your natural teeth.

Glass ionomers are fillings made of a mixture including ground glass and resins and it can release flouride into the surrounding enamel. This material is used in areas where bite pressure is not a factor such as near the gum line.
